JRTCA Jack Russell Terriers
Our puppies are eligible to be registered with the Jack Russell Terrier Club of America (JRTCA), and so are the real thing! (Both parents are registered through the club.) The JRTCA is all about preserving the working Jack Russell Terrier. Here in East Texas, there is definitely a plethora of raccoons, squirrels, gophers, and other varmints for these “Jacks” to hunt. (History of the Jack Russell Terrier breed.)
We currently have one male puppy available. (“Ranger”) He was born November 15, 2017, out of Shady Grove Theo and Shady Grove Dixie . We work hard to carefully plan out the few litters we have each year following the JRTCA breed standard. He is in the house some, but gets plenty of access to outdoors and fresh air. He is crate and leash trained and in training for off lead and obedience. He is doing great!
For more pictures of the terriers that influence our lines, you can go to My Little Shady Grove, our daughter’s website. The sire has earned quite a bit of accolades as you can see on that website and Facebook page. Both sides have champion bloodlines and hold hunting certificates. Below you will find pictures of Ranger, progressing in age, and his parents.
Be sure to contact us if you have any questions or to be placed on a waiting list for future litters.
